The Weekly Wrap-up: July 8-12, 2024

Has anyone tried the update thing below? Does it actually send an email? Honestly, there’s a lot about this site I’m still figuring out. But we’re getting there.

This has been a pretty full week. I was dog sitting last week and working from downtown Indy, so I didn’t have access to my normal setup.

Truly a hardship.

Lots of fun conversations with people this week. Some productive, some not. But mostly helpful. I formatted booklet 64 in Spanish. We should be able to rush that booklet through because it’s a pretty short book that is being translated by two of my team. We don’t normally do it like that, but it’s just one booklet and it’ll be helpful in a lot of countries, and if you have people who already speak the language, make use of them.

One of my big projects is uploading all of our published files to the distribution servers. My team has gone through all of our old projects to make sure everything is uniform and correct. Now we need to make sure our users have the best product.

I hope everyone is keeping cool and dry. It seems like I’m either swimming through rain or humidity these days. But you should all know my philosophy on summer by now - never complain about the heat! Unless we’re in triple digits, I will soak up as much heat as possible in order to have fond memories during the winter months. I will always choose summer over winter.

Anyway, be well, make good choices, stop and smell the roses, etc.
