The Doge Download: The We-Wu for February 24-28, 2025

Yes, you did read that correctly. And I’m stating this publicly.

Elon stole the weekly recap of work progress from me.

You’re welcome. Or I’m sorry. Whichever you’d prefer.

As I sit here and contemplate my week, the distant thudding of a kitchen demolition echoing through the halls, I heave a deep sigh of relief that weekends do, in fact, exist.

But first, we must recount the events of the week.

Like last week, much of my time was spent on the new booklet. I had to give it my last once over, but then so did everyone else, so the filename, were it anywhere but Google Drive, would have looked like that of a college paper - title_final_final2_reallyfinal_pleaseletitbeover.doc.

I’m sure I’ll open it against next week and find something glaringly obvious that we all missed.

But I’m also continuing my work on Hausa. I think I’m up to page 24. Progress!

I was slowed down waiting for fonts to load. Why does it always take forever?

I also learned how to change the paper towels in the bathroom. That’s not really noteworthy, but Sarah is the one who showed me how to do it, and it would be a shame not to mention her every once in a while.

We had two Zoom prayer sendoffs for missionaries this week. The first was for Hannah, who will be going to the U.K. after an extensive wait. The second was for a family off to Hungary. Please pray for these individuals as they adjust to their new situations.

I’ve been getting into the spirit of Spring cleaning as I do my semi-annual computer clean out. I delete old emails or sort them into folders, empty the virtual trash, and update my filing system. It’s one of those small things you can do to make life easier.

Speaking of small things, we’re nearly at the time where we can actually sweat the small stuff! Please take full advantage of that.

Bye!
