Discombobulation Nation: The We-Wu for March 24-28, 2025
I’m going to let you in on a secret.
Typically, in the world of this blog, I actually come up with the title last. I write my thoughts in a stream of consciousness style and then see what the overall theme is. Or what random phrase I’ve managed to invent.
But this week, the title came first. In fact, it’s the first thing I wrote in my calendar when I got to the office. I knew exactly what the theme was going to be, and I was proved out.
I was not with it this week.
Honestly, it’s pretty much entirely my fault. I have three side jobs and one main job, and they are all popping off at the same time. People need dog sitters, I have my usual English curriculum creation, I’m trying to find time to edit my dad’s book, and suddenly translators found time to send project work. Plus, I’m three weeks away from the Church Multiplication Conference, at which I will be in charge of tech needs. I have to meet with all of the presenters to make sure I can actually do what they need. We’re also trying to get the new T&M booklet done before a training event on April 7.
On Thursday, I found myself organizing fun size candy bars.
I think I’ve resigned myself to playing whack-a-mole for the next few weeks.
(Also, The Chosen season 5 is releasing now, and I’m super excited about that. If you’re not watching, I’m not judging, I’m just really disappointed in you.)
Anyway, all that to say that I’m really busy right now, but busy with good things. I just need to find some moments to breathe.
Oh yeah, and I need to get a prayer letter out soon.
Look, sometimes you just gotta buckle down.
(Did I mention I’m in charge of chapel the week after the CMC?)
Don’t forget to sweat the small stuff, k bye!
